Marketing & Sales Intern


Job Description: The Marketing & Sales Intern will be responsible for assisting the CEO with all elements related to marketing, sales and advertising programs. The immediate focus will be marketing to small businesses in need of our services. The Marketing & Sales Intern will work closely with the developers to assist with client services, client relations, research, and preparation of presentation materials.

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Assist with the research and development of sales presentations and preparations for client meetings.
  • Assist with the communication for clients and developers attending the client meetings.
  • Assist in Internet Marketing to all potential clients under the direction of the CEO.
  • Assist in the development of the company’s Marketing plan as it relates to strategic plan.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive list of marketing efforts and statistics.
  • Assist with gathering and preparing project quotes for various clients.
  • At the conclusion of a project responsibilities will include mailing client thank you letters/emails and coordinating client gifts.
  • Scan all contracts and distribute to the appropriate people.

Sales

  • Responsible for creating new relationships with potential clients.
  • Make phone calls to follow up with current clients and invite them to try new services, as well as set appointments to meet with new clients.
  • Conduct customer service survey’s to help improve upon the sales process.

Administration

  • Receive telephone calls in a professional manner. Handle calls if possible and forward detailed messages for other calls.
  • Process telephone requests for pertinent information.
  • Maintain informative and accurate records.
  • Generate all necessary correspondence related to assigned project(s) responsibilities.
  • Participate in all mailings including assembly, printing, and processing.
  • Assist CEO with administrative duties.

Web Designer/Developer

  • Experience working with XHTML/​CSS/​Javascript/PHP
  • Relational database experience using MYSQL.
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
  • Ability to learn and work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be a fast learner, organized, a team player, responsible, dependable and able to deal with stress in a positive way.
  • Ability to work in a group environment prioritizing multiple tasks, setting priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
